Backcross to C57BL/6 (Heterozygote x C57BL/6JJmsSlc) ホモマウスは内耳の異常を伴う運動失調を呈す。生存性はあるものの、行動異常のため雌雄とも繁殖不能。 名古屋大学大学院生命農学研究科、織田銑一先生・陳自艶先生ら（2008年）。1984年、大村実験動物・大村道夫先生によって見いだされたwriggle mouse sagami（BALB/c-wri）に由来する。Wriggleマウスはその後、北里大学医学部・大沢　伸孝教授により維持されたのち、2005年、名古屋大学大学院生命農学研究科、織田銑一先生・陳自艶先生らによってC57BL/6マウスへコンジェニック化が行われた。 B6J.C-Atp2b2<wri>/Oda B6J.C-Atp2b2<wri>/Oda Sen-ichi ODA B6.C-Atp2b2<wri>/Oda。内耳の異常を伴う運動失調マウスwriggle mouse sagamiより育成されたC57BL/6コンジェニック系統。常染色体単一劣性遺伝で1塩基置換がある。ホモマウスは生存性があるものの、行動異常のため雄雌とも繁殖できない。ホマウスの小脳では小脳のプルキンジェ細胞の萎縮があり、顆粒細胞のアポトーシスが認められるが、極端な小脳の萎縮はない。Joggleマウスでは、第6染色体上のAtp2b2遺伝子内の一塩基置換によりAtp2b2遺伝子の発現が抑えられ、失調性歩行と内耳の異常を呈することが明らかとなっている。 Spontaneous mutant arose in BALB/c inbred mice, found by Mr. Michio Ohmura, Ohmura Institute for Laboratory Animals in 1984. The Wriggle mice were maintained by Dr. Nobutaka Ohsawa, Kitasato University School of Medicine, and then backcrossed to C57BL/6J by Dr. Sen-ichi Oda, Nagoya University in 2005.
